Known as “Bullet” Bob Armstrong, he became a fan favorite through his toughness, charisma, and longevity, capturing numerous regional championships while feuding with some of the biggest names in Southern wrestling. His influence extended beyond the ring as he became one of the most respected figures in wrestling history.

Armstrong’s legacy continued through one of wrestling’s most successful family dynasties. He was the father of fellow wrestlers Brad Armstrong, Scott Armstrong, Steve Armstrong, and Brian Armstrong, better known to WWE fans as Road Dogg.
